For this project, I came up with the idea of 'documenting three times'. During visits to galleries, I often take photographs of people viewing artworks in the same frame as the paintings. Some of these viewers are watching with their eyes, some are recording with their brushes, and some are explaining the work to their friends. I have incorporated these masterpieces into my work along with the viewers, creating a 'triple recording' of a particular image.

The first record is of the painter recording the scene as he saw it with his own eyes; the second record is of seeing the painter's work in the gallery and photographing it; and the third record is of painting the photograph taken. Although they are three different records of the same scene, each time contains different emotions, thoughts and recording methods. When recording the same image, it is given a new meaning, mixed with special personal emotions.
